1. The 'Sensible House'.
Even when it's snowing
a warm and welcoming gîte, with heating fuelled by wood
| The building has been enlarged in an eco-friendly manner. Solar heating panels have been used to heat the water for showers, radiators are heated by a wood-burning boiler, and rain-water is used for the toilets ... The gîtes have been built using natural materials : wood and flax fibre for insulation, cork for floor insulation, timber-framed, and wood-clad, natural paints. A gîte idea based on respect for humans and the environment, an open window on the countryside, for holidays with a difference ... This way to visit. |

The gîte at the 'Sensible' House:
. A warm welcome is assured in a place built and equipped with eco-friendly materials
. A group gîte for between 8 and 18 people, divided between 3 bedrooms.
. A family gîte for 6, divided between 2 bedrooms.
. A space suitable for families, groups and seminars, classes, special interest organisations etc (24 beds).
. Accommodation officially approved as suitable for " Tourisme et Handicaps" and accessible also for those with reduced mobility ( 8 beds )

The group gîte at Lisbourg can accommodate 32 people
Accommodation is also available at the "Fourmilière" ( the Ants' Nest !) : a gîte at the source of the River Lys.
A former farm is just waiting to accommodate you in the village where the River Lys has its source. Our gîte, with 32 beds, is situated in Lisbourg, in a valley in the middle of the countryside, through which runs the River Lys. To get there, you will pass farms and watermills...
A gîte, beautifully situated in peaceful, rolling countryside.
The group gîte "La Fourmilière" has 32 beds divided between 8 bedrooms. Its large lawn is an ideal place for outdoor games and activities, or for pitching a few tents. To visit click here.

Our three tipis are equipped with wooden flooring and are suitable for between 6 to 10 people, for one or several nights. Something quite out of the ordinary !
